well how i do is i save the gif into my photo gallery on my phone. Once that is clear you would go to a chapter in which you are working on. There is two icons on the top the text area. One of a photo, and one of a video recorder. You choose the one that shows a photo. Once you do It'll give you two options "take photo" or "choose existing" you choose existing and pick the gif from your photos and there you go!
