Hi! I tell people to call me Lele.

My Past

My older brother had cancer a month before I was born, 
chemo ended a little while before my little bro was born, 
a month before my dad was injured in Afghanistan. 
I was five by now. 
Seven is when I started seeing dad out of a hospital bed and in a wheelchair, in our new house in Hawaii, for the VA. 
Hawaii means paradise to others. 
To me, it means home. 
There I was physically and sexually abused, betrayed, and almost broken. 
There I was loved by those who really mattered, supported and encouraged by the family members I learned I could trust.

It's been years and I finally am sure that I'm making steps in my healing process. I can finally admit that I'm not ok and what was done to me was not ok, but... hopefully, I'm going to be ok.
