Mary Ellen Woods

I am an author of contemporary & historical romance/fiction. I have self-published one contemporary romance and have another coming soon. I am also working on an American Civil War and Western era trilogy. 

I come from a family with a tradition of military service stretching from the American Revolution to the current War on Terror. So it seems natural to me to write stories that feature military men and women as the protagonists. 

I am a former teacher of American History and a special course in the American Civil War for which I developed the curriculum. I am an avid Civil War enthusiast as a reader, writer, and a reenactor.
