J.S. Orcutt

Residing in Washington State, where I attended Washington State University, I divide my time amongst family, work, travel and writing. Having two young children has kept me grounded and focused, while traveling and writing has kept me sane. I draw from a vast pool of past 'careers' which include stints working for; an airline, the railroad, several commercial banks and an unnamed Washington State software empire, in Redmond, and many more. Living abroad, in Costa Rica has been my second most rewarding experience yet, after being a father.

Writing has been a lifelong passion, which I am finally beginning to prioritize.  Hopefully, someday, I will earn enough money through writing to buy a venti frozen coffee and wooden tobacco pipe.
