I am a twenty-something with an on-again-off-again love affair with writing, among other hobbies. I've been writing for about as long as I've been reading. I adore science fiction and fantasy, though I will read most anything - except Westerns. I was never able to get much interest in reading them, however give me a good John Wayne flick and I'm set. 

I am always trying to improve my writing, and therefore I not only greatly appreciate but greatly encourage critiques of my work. I can't say I will always agree with what's said, but I will certainly take it into advisement - if not for the current work, but maybe something in the future. 

I grew up reading novels by Patricia C. Wrede and Brian Jacques, eventually adding series by Andre Norton, Anne McCaffrey, Raymond E. Feist, David Eddings, Mercedes Lackey and Melanie Rawn to the collection. I read other authors, of course, but these are the ones that made the earliest (and deepest) impression on the style of writing and type of story that I love.

Now, that is probably more than enough rambling about myself. If you read any of my stories I certainly hope that you enjoy them. And if you don't, I hope you tell me why, so that I can improve on my next try.
