Hatchet-Rose

I have been writing for well over a decade now. I began with short stories, and when I was 13 I began my very first novel 'The Gothic Rose'. I have since, worked to rewrite that story from the original 72 page version. 

I mainly have been focusing my energy around my poetry. I have found, over the years, that poems speak much louder to me than my stories do. One poem, 'The Alleyway' won an online poetry contest. And I plan on entering four in for submissions to the poetryfoundation.com next year when they reopen for submissions. 

I am also a blog writer, and have a short story based on some recent life events that I have on a private facebook group. Soon to become public once names and personal info is changed in it to hide identities of those involved.

I am a divorced mother of 3, and currently in a fairytale relationship with my boyfriend who lives 2000 miles away from me.
