Once upon a time there was a king,named Kol,who was very selfish and so vain and haughty that he could not bear anyone to be more beautiful than him.Now, the King had a magic mirror,that could talk, and would answer truthfully any question that it was asked.The vain King would look into the mirror and ask,"Mirror, mirror on the wall,who is the fairest of them all?Tell me how handsome I am.''And the mirror would reply,"You are the fairest,my King"Then he would be happy,for he knew the mirror always spoke the truth.Meanwhile hameed was growing up and the older he grew the more handsome he became, so that by the time he was seven years old,he was far more handsome than the King.One day the King, as always, asked his magic mirror,"Mirror, mirror on the wall,who is the fairest of them all?"This time the mirror gave a different answer.It said,"You were the fairest,my King. Hameed khan is fairest now,I ween.''The King began hating hameed.
