I'm not trying to be patronising but when people who don't experience disability (either themselves or people they are close to) try to write a story with a main disabled character and it turns into a giant pity party/melodrama. I am happy to help if anyone wants it!!

-I am not a lovatic, Secret at the Knolls started as a gift to my friend who loves Demi and went to TK.
-I had to do a shit tonne of research on Demi because I knew VERY little about her.
-I also have something like a board of governors for my stories that read the book before I post it and correct any mistakes.
All of my characters (aside from Demi and Justice) are actual people, who have graciously shared their story. most of the names have been changed. (Sidi is someone I have known since kindergarten: in this book I am channeling her attitude of when we were in high school)
-In my head, Justice reminds me of Unique from Glee
Oh and just so ya know, I love Demi's music now.
