I have spent the last 44 years in the international crude oil business and its attendant geopolitics. I will fill in the lacunae of world events from today and the past that have shaped your involvement whether you know it or not.

I am inspired to reveal things now as the world is not a better place when I slipstreamed into the petroleum business. Most people have no knowledge how the politics of acquiring oil and natural gas shape their lives. The acquisition of crude oil is , from the industry's perspective , is amoral. It is often driven by conflict , irregular wars and the spilling of blood. It is full of young men lusting after glory and old men seeking to leave their mark which makes for a very dangerous environment for the world to shoulder.

I slipped onto this boardwalk a storm with my soul in disguise which left the Moon crying.

Perhaps you, as a reader, might like to know about the war in Indochina and what really went on there. It was good exposure to acquire the knowledge of deception, misdirection and deceit all fully justified by a governmental King's X- a Big one. No blame and No shame as long as the target metrics were met.

These epigraphs are always on my mind

"Whatever a man prays for,he prays for a miracle. Every prayer reduces itself to this:
Great God,grant that two and two be not four".
Ivan Turgenev from "Prayer"

" I don't want realism. I want magic....I don't tell the truth.,I tell what ^'ought'^ to be
truth". Tennessee Williams from "A Streetcar Named Desire"
