CAMalosh

Okay, I just thought about it and realized you were my 500th follower. Yay. You just made my night! I see you are from Australia, I am not sure if you are familiar with the Tamam Shud mystery or not, but I have a few episodes in my Voynich Shift Season One story and it's set in Adelaide (I know Australia is a big place, so you could be anywhere down there, but I'm working with what I got, lol), centering around this story. I'm going to dedicate it to you. Thank you!

@CAMalosh aaaah - sorry, I just realised I never replied to this. How rude. I'm really sorry. I should have a bit more time this week so am looking forward to reading your work.

Here is my entry to the final round of the Science Fiction SmackDown competition. My prompt was Ocean Punk, a photo of four orcas flying through a city and the song 'Under Blackened Skies' by Fozzy.

I looked at the photo, listened to the song and immediately sat down to sketch out my idea of what an Ocean Punk story should be. It was a rewrite of the classic Romeo and Juliet tale. It was underwater, of course. There was a princess and a prince, both from warring factions. There was a trap and a gene change and an unintended death.

But when I tried to write the first scene, Vernon popped up. He demanded, very quietly, that I tell his story instead. Terri was there too. She was much louder and laughed a lot. By the end she was comfortable enough with me to take off her prosthetic leg. I liked that.

Here is Vernon and Terri's story: https://www.wattpad.com/525769097-smackdown-entries-2017-%E2%A0%A0%E2%A0%8A-%E2%A0%BA-%E2%A0%8D%E2%A0%8A%E2%A0%8E%E2%A0%8E-%E2%A0%BD
