          As you might be aware, Wattpad will be getting rid of the user-to-user private messaging feature and deleting existing conversations. This will be effective May 6th, 2024.

          I have realized that I have neglected my friends with updates regarding my brother-in-law and how he is doing.
          
          Mostly, he's okay. He's still in the hospital fighting. Recently, he was moved from the ICU to a regular room where they discovered that he has pneumonia that might have caused a bad infection so he was rushed back to the ICU. Thankfully, they seem to have cleared it up and now he's being put back into a regular room. I'm awaiting further updates as of right now. 
          
          Meanwhile, I got injured at work. I twisted my ankle on grease. With Workman's Comp, I went to the hospital to have it checked out. Luckily, there were no broken or sprained bones however it still hurts. I'm surprised they hadn't checked out the nerves part but meh, I still have to go to the orthopedic doctor there. I'll keep you updated as to that as well. 
          
          Until then, Warrior Cats fans rejoice! I've fully set up the account here: @TheCatsofWarriorCats which is looking for Warrior Cat fanfics to add to our reading list!

          No major news regarding my brother-in-law as of late. My sister reached out to several transplant places and one in Arizona reached out to her asking for additional information. So fingers crossed that what they are looking for is something they can work with to save him. 
          
          Understandably, due to the entirety of this heartache and worry, I neglected my ONC entry: The Scrolls of Autumn and now that I have the time to sit down and plan it better, the introduction chapter will be undergoing some alterations so the story will be unpublished temporary. I won't be able to work on the actual story until tomorrow since I have work in the morning. 
          
          Until then, I thank you for your patience as I go through these trying times. See you soon! <3

          I got the news today that Duke Health (which specializes in third lung transplants) said no to my brother-in-law. So now we are just hoping that the other places my sister reached out to would be willing to do the surgery. 
          
          I found out the reason why Miami's said no and it's because when he had his second (the collapsing lungs he has now) she put him on rejection medication immediately afterwards as a precaution. But Miami assumed it meant the lungs were rejecting them and it wasn't the case at all. My sister even explained it to them and they still said no. 
          
          It's really hard to keep the faith and trust that everything will be okay and my brother-in-law will be back home soon with his newborn and my sister. But I'm trying really hard. 
          
          We need prayers more than ever. My brother-in-law's sister reached out to a news station and I'm hoping that will bear some fruit or any of the other places say yes to his surgery. My sister even went as far as contacting places out of Florida (Duke was an exception since the doctors at the hospital contacted them) and said she'd be willing to take him to California if it meant his survival. 
          
          We're getting desperate - especially my sister. So much stress is upon her that I have no idea how much more she can take before she breaks down. Their son needs them both. Please pray for their survival and to my brother-in-law's health. Please pray that a good hospital will reach out with a yes.
