Hi, my name is Kate. I'm 18 year old Canadian equestrian.
I have been riding for 15 years and currently have 9 horses, Dancer, Cowboy, Argo, Prim, Tango, Rayiah, Kodak and Hershey. I have done everything from barrel racing (gymkhana events), western pleasure, hunters, jumper, dressage, but now I mainly do eventing or Jumpers. I plan to go around the Canadian riding circuit with Hershey this year. Cowboy and I did show jumping and eventing in 2019 and we were an extremely successful team! At the end of 2019 and the beginning of 2020, I competed in the hunter ring with Argo where we were fantastic but his age was starting to catch up. Prim is my eventing prospect and currently training. Rayiah is 25, she is my ex-hunter and now just teaches lessons. Hershey is just my fun horse for now and teaches lessons here and there.
I previously went to an equestrian boarding school for 3 years until covid-19 I was debating on going back but my family bought an equestrian facility so i dropped out of school and now work full time. I had such a good time at school and learned so much with my horses and about being an independent individual. I would definitely recommend boarding school to someone who felt like they were lacking being independent.
About 5 years ago I also became an equestrian model which I absolutely love but it is a lot of work. The shoots can be so much fun but they can also take up so much time that I don't have.
Scenes all my time off school I ended up becoming an equestrian influencer which is so much fun with all the amazing opportunities I am so lucky to get!
Most of my stories will be based on real-life experiences while I was away at school and even some from home! I hope y'all enjoy it!
