Ava Branson's a pretty staunch believer in finding humor wherever and whenever possible, so this won't be any exception.

After perusing brilliantly talented author's websites to get a taste of what the Big Kids do, she found there wasn't a great deal she had in common there. No, she hasn't been writing since she first learned to grip a pencil properly. No journalism major either. Closest she could come to writing fiction was her ten year law background. One could argue there was an element of fiction present there. She was known to write fiendishly good demand letters.

With still no literary career in sight, she left that working world to stay at home and raise two beautiful daughters. That was the toughest - and BEST - job ever! But after countless years of stories buzzing through her head, growing more vivid and relentless in their demand for attention, only then did she listen to what her mother had always told her..."You should write!" she'd said.

So, the beautiful daughters were growing up and Ava decided it was past time to take control over her own happiness. She became single mom after 24 years of marriage, and finally began to put pen to paper.

She calls Florida home with her two girls and 2.5 cats.
