Audrey

Yo.

My name's Audrey, I live in Australia, and writing is the only thing I live for. The only thing I want to do when I grow up is become an author (or be a professional domestic waterfowl breeder...). To be honest, writing is the only thing I've ever been told I'm good at. I began writing as soon as I could hold a pencil and it grew from there. I'm hoping being on here'll help me improve-- so any critiques are very much appreciated. Really, I'll be your new best friend if you give me a little feedback.

I like writing better than reading, but I do enjoy a good book-- hence the good. I'm incredibly particular about what I'll read and what I won't. Romance usually goes out the door, there are so many boring romance stories that, to be honest, I've given up on that genre. But maybe someone on here will change my mind! I dunno, I just hope I'm not too prejudiced. I do tend to judge a story by its genre, which automatically makes me a really bad critique. 

What do I enjoy? Well... fantasy is my all-time favourite thing to read. I love to watch sci-fi TV shows, but I'm not too fond of reading it. I love ducks and geese more than any animal in the world. I enjoy old-school video games and PC games that involve swords and trebuchets (*cough*Age of Empires*cough*). I listen to music that's rather heavy, but I don't mind TASTEFUL pop, I'm an avid fan of many franchises and whatnot that you probably don't want to hear about (Pokémon, Harry Potter, Hunger Games, Banjo-Kazooie, classic Disney, Tim Burton's works, Star Trek, Doctor Who...), I'm queer, I'm a hobbyist artist and not a very good one at that, and... I'm rambling on, aren't I?
