Nilinga niya ang paligid, at nang nasisigurong abala ang ibang mga kamag-aral at guro ay pasimple niyang binunot mula sa loob ng bag ang isang munting libro. She smiled as she held that little book in her hand, hindi pa niya ito binubuklat ay tila nararamdaman na niya ang kilig na madarama sa pagbabasa niyon.

Sweetheart Series - Martha Cecilia. She was probably one of the biggest fan of the said author. Maingat niyang iniipit sa ilang pahina ng librong pang eskuwela ang pocketbook at nagkunwaring nag-aaral. 

"April, care to share what you're smiling about?" Malakas na tinig ng guro ang pumukaw sa kanyang atensyon. 

Agad niyang itinklop ang libro at umayos ng pagkakaupo. She shook her head in embarassment. 
Nakahinga siya ng maluwang ng ibalik ng guro ang atensyon sa blackboard.


Yup. This is a true story from when I was in high school. I was obsessed with pinoy pocketbooks especially those authored by the late Ms. Martha Cecilia.  As an adult, I discovered my passion for writing, and it is one that gives me immense pleasure. From the 4 books that I had published online, the greatest compliment I have received was from one of my readers, when she said my works reminded her of Ms. Martha Cecilia.
