Hey all! I hope everyone has been doing well. 
          
          I’ve had a lot going on in my personal life that I had to take a step back from Wattpad. If you’ll notice though I have the official cover posted for “After the Bees”!!! I am truly blessed for the artist I was able to work with who brought my vision to life. 
          
          Leah is actually modeled after one of my dear friends who posed for me during a photo shoot for the book.

"After the Bees" has been unpublished as I am in the final stages of releasing it. I shot for the cover this last Sunday and am working with a cover artist to bring everything to life. If you're staying up to date on my facebook page, you'll see that I've already posted the first look of Leah. 
          
          I'm so excited everything is finally coming together!

This past Sunday I came back from a 10 trip to the UK. While I was there I was looking forward to being home in my own bed and home with my animals. Now that I’m here I wish I could still have that- but there! 
          
          My favorite part about the trip was visiting Belfast. It’s not often I visit a place and want to live there. It didn’t take me long to fall in love with the city and the incredible gorgeous country around it. 
          
          The time away did my writing good though.

The first three EDITED chapters of “After the Bees” is up. While I will be holding the rest until publication, I thought it best to give you a sneak peek!

I am happy to announce that "The Bird In The Cage" placed in Writer's Digest Short Story Awards. This story can be found in my collection here! While the actual story won't be published I did get a prize and was honored to have made Top 20 against all of the other submissions in such a well-known competition.

Hello everyone!
          
          
          "After the Bees" has been edited and polished and edited and polished again.  My editor has been wonderful by not only tweaking my errors, but providing helpful feedback. I have updated the first two chapters on here for you to read. They HAVE changed. 
          
          All in all ATB was 20 chapters and now it is 24 with added length throughout. 
          
          While I can't post the majority of the story on Wattpad any longer I am building a page on Facebook. Anyone who is fans of my work or Leah and Raum, I would love to have your support there as well. You'll find more updates and snippets from the book.
