back when I was too young to even manage to do scribbles. I let my mom or dad draw something for me before leaving for work. they always draw while telling stories about it either by describing a bear, the interior of the house or the story of a certain boxer which my dad loves to draw all the time for my amusement. I listen to the stories intently while observing every strokes of the pencil or pen because they will be my guide when I started practicing after they left. THAT IS HOW MY FASCINATION FOR STORYTELLING AND DRAWING STARTED.
I spend most of my summer and boring hours drawing anything that comes up on my mind and there are always instant stories accompanying each but I never wrote stories about them because my mind is more preoccupied with writing songs, poems and some silly blogs about anything that i found interesting.
Now though, i wanted to do all by writing stories because it will give me the opportunity to share the stories behind the drawings while inserting poetry, songs and even my personal opinion in it. (unfortunately, can't seem to finish it.. so, ill just read your stories. okay. XD.)
