Hi everyone! I'm an currently an amateur writer although I have self published on Amazon.com before. Well, I would consider myself a regular writer if I had a reader base :) 

When I was 15, my mini script from a workshop led by a local theatre company at my high school was chosen to be showcased and acted out by actors and actresses at the drama centre. I've since lost the school year book which had the mini script printed in it during some spring cleaning activities at home.

Then later in life, too much stress from most areas of my life in my early 20s caused a chemical imbalance in my brain and I was diagnosed with schizophrenia. It took me 10 years to become stabilised and mostly normal now. During my recovery journey, my mom suggested that I should write a book for fun to take up my time and I did. I used writing as a "physiotherapy" for my schizophrenia and it worked extremely well, providing me an outlet to vent and express myself. 

In 2009, I started writing my first book and I self published it in 2010. I've been self publishing a book each year since 2010. I have 3 out of print books by another pen name from 2010, 2011 and 2012 which are stocked up in 14 local Singapore National Libraries. I currently have 2 books on Amazon.com. I've tried both fiction and non fiction and all my books are short books so far.

I'm currently writing talk materials to start giving seminars. It's part of my small home based business I started to do assisted self publishing and seminars. 

I got to know about Wattpad through a friend I got to know from a Writers Group on Facebook. She has a big readership of almost 7 million reads on Wattpad for her story and she was humble and nice to point the way to Wattpad for me. So here I am, not trying to expect too much but I intend to make Wattpad a constant in my daily life. I'm on a learning journey just like everyone else.
