Hello and welcome! I'm D. Lynn, but you can call me Xeno. 

Currently balancing care for my spouse on dialysis, raising our little boy, and navigating the demands of two full-time jobs. Writing has become a sanctuary for us both - keeping me sane, and her mind off the pain. 

My literary journey began almost as soon as I could talk, with a profound love for science fiction, horror, and fantasy. By the age of two, I had already taught myself to read. Growing up in the '90s, my imagination was fueled by a pantheon of authors who have left an indelible mark.

This era introduced me to the imaginative brilliance of Dean Koontz, the epic landscapes of J.R.R. Tolkien, the chilling tales of John Saul, and Robin Cook's medical thrillers. Michael Crichton showed me the power of cutting-edge science, while Orson Scott Card opened up the vastness and complexity of human emotion. Philip Pullman's "Golden Compass" invited me to ponder moral quandaries, and Kim Stanley Robinson's "Red Mars" gave me a taste of colonizing the stars. Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman taught me the raw power of magic and human will, while Brian Jacques' Redwall taught me that nobody is too small to make a difference. 

This rich tapestry is evident in my writing style, which is characterized by lush, vivid descriptions, deep dives into character psyches, and expansive world-building. My work aims to offer readers a gateway into worlds beyond their imagination.

Throughout my nearly three-decade journey, I've earned a BA in Creative Writing, penned millions of words, and refined my craft. My editorial stint allowed me the privilege of working with clients who've achieved significant acclaim, including a TED Talk presenter and an NYT Best Seller.
