My name's Laura (if you hadn't already guessed!) I am a writer, lover of books and master of procrastination. I live in a tiny seaside town on the south east coast that houses the best ice cream parlour in the world. (Their hot chocolate fudge sundae is to die for!) The town is also where Charles Dickens used to spend his summers and would write whilst looking out over the main sands and sea. How dreamy!

I've been writing ever since I can remember and it's become an addiction! I love creating characters and telling their stories and, hopefully, entertaining readers whilst I do so. I was brought up reading and my love of the written word has never waned. I even decided one Saturday morning, languidly spread across the library floor reading the new Jacqueline Wilson book, that one day I would see my book on the shelf. And since then I've never given up the hope that this dream may one day come true.

To me there's something so magical about being able to create a story from 26 letters and a dash of imagination and I honestly can't imagine a life without books and writing!

When I'm not writing or engrossed in a book I'm probably binge watching something on Netflix, wasting time scrolling through Twitter or taking a nap.

My lifetime goal is to own a cat sanctuary in the countryside complete with huge house, my very own writing shed and to marry Tom Hiddleston. A girl can dream...right?!
