Aldane Walker

Hi! I'm Aldane Walker. Nice to meet ya! If you're wondering about the name "Walkabwoy" it's a little nickname my mom has used for me since I was a wee little lad. It's in Jamaican creole and basically means I'm my father's son ("Walka" = "Walker" + "bwoy" = "boy"). 

About me... Hmmm... Let's see. I love family, especially mine. I've been blessed with awesome friends. They're also pretty weird (which is why we get along so famously, lol). We end up rubbing off on each other. I'm a thinker. I spend a lot of time just letting my thoughts run free on any issue. That also means I love being by myself sometimes, but I also love hanging with friends and having a good time. I love a good discussion or a good exchange of ideas. People are such intriguing creatures. I learn so much just from talking to them and being introduced to their varying perspectives. I'll read just about anything because I think books can teach you so much. Some of my favourite people in the world are Socrates, Homer, C.S. Lewis and my mom. I love imagining things. That means I love a good story. Even among everything else I that I like, I have a soft spot for fantasy and mythology. Some of my favourite fictional characters are Albus Dumbledore, Jiraiya (from Naruto), Hercules and King Arthur. One day I want to create characters that are as memorable as they are. Oh, and I love martial arts. I wish I was a real live martial artist like Jet Li. I eat, sleep and breathe reading and writing and music (and games too). As for music I sing it, write it, compose it, perform it and otherwise make it.

I'm a Christian. I love God. I love nature. I contemplate it a lot. I love watching wildlife documentaries. I think God is beyond amazing to have come up with all of this.

Well, that was quite a jumble of information! Hopefully it helped some. I'm looking forward to this. There are some pretty awesome folks around and this is one way to be exposed to them. On to the stories! *Draws sword and bellows war cry*
