I'm all about:

1. BRAIN SPUNK -- A term I coined...just now...for smart-yet-spunky adventure stories.

2. VILLAINS -- Man, I love a good villain. Especially villains that evolve, like Professor Snape, Loki, Spike (Buffy), Magus (Chrono Trigger), Vegeta, Barney (HIMYM. Does that count?). Plus, deeply devious villains, like Moriarty, The Joker, Tom Riddel, Kefka (FFVI), Dragons (yep. Just all dragons.)

3. HEART -- Unlikely friends coming together. A discovered commonality between proud enemies. Siblings there for each other when they really need it. Parents doing anything to find their children. I'll straight up cry. And...I'm a closet romance-a-file...I love to see a character fight for their HOT SOULMATE!

4. MAGIC -- Ooo, sparkly.

5. COMEDY -- Give me a stomach cramp!

I like it dark and dangerous, or light and adventurous. Just give me stories!     



Fun Facts:

--- My sister gave me 'Divergent' on Christmas, 2013. I wasn't planning to read it. I finished 'Allegiant' on January 13, 2014. 

--- I love authors like J.K. Rowling and Neil Gaiman, movies like Hook and Spirited Away, shows like Doctor Who and Parks and Recreation, and video games like Chrono Trigger and Portal.

--- I've self-published two fantasy/adventure novels in a series called 'Seven Spectral.'
