My name is TheBlackDahlia. I'm 19. I love writing. I've always had trouble talking so I decided to take the words I couldn't say and put them into stories. 

I love horror and mystery. Even as a young girl, I loved watching horror movies. I loved that adrenaline rush you get when you know the killer is right behind the person or hiding in the room, when the virus is about to strike, or when you know a parts about to come up that will make you jump out of your seat. I live for those moments. My friends say it's creepy, but they don't mind. 

If I had to say my favorite directors, I'd have to say John Carpenter (Halloween, The Thing), Wes Craven (Nightmare on Elm Street, Scream 1-3), and George Romero (The Crazies, Dawn of the Dead). 

I love horror movies that make you jump out of your seat or keep you on the edge of your seat, waiting to see what happens next. If asked what my favorite horror movies were, there would be a long list. I love modern and vintage horror movies. I love any movie that can make me want to sit and watch it over and over again because it's so scary. I really don't like too gory movies. Gore/Horror is not exactly something I look for. I miss how horror movies used to be made; they were made with the sheer purpose to scare you; not gross you out from all the blood.

I may not write horror all that well, but I'll still be willing to try. I hope that my best attempts all well received, but at the same time I won't take harsh comments lightly. That's not what a site like this should be about anyways. Well... enjoy :)
