Greetings Wattpad Writing Community!

I am Tami Ruth, former writer on redroom.com.  Last summer I began with 15,000 hits since May of 2009, and increased to 53,000+ hits by this summer. :) I have a memoir I've written that is a blend of Erica Jong, Naomi Wolf, and Sex in the City; 1000+ pages of daily musings, my 300+ redroom posts.

My big project: writing a book about my grandparents surviving the Holocaust in Nazi Germany by escaping to live in Shanghai with 20,000 other refuges. 

That said, this year I will "only" tutor students as opposed to being daily classroom teacher, work on my MFA in Writing, volunteer at MEND Poverty teaching adults math, reading, and writing skills 4 hours a week, and research, transcribe, fundraise, and travel for my Holocaust book project. 

Interests: I love to hike, play soccer, host social meetup events, cook, and I enjoy teaching children most any creative endeavor: sparking thirsty minds with imagination and hope of the brilliant future and past we collectively share. 

For seven years I've been married to my rock, Will. Together, we enjoy the company of our shihtsu Bodhi. 

If you are an agent, I would love to talk with you. I have other books on the back burner, including a smut Harlequin romance style novel, and a murder mystery idea author and screen writer Jerry Stahl approved of in person in elevator pitch form. :)
