          Gang members have been dropping dead for months, each more gruesome than the last. For a while, the police have been aiming to find them, but with no clues nor suspects, the case was left stagnant. 
          
          California Butchers, the public calls them. 
          
          Little do they know a pair of magical siblings carry the earned title of California Butchers. Luna and Draco Yang live in a world parallel to our own, where those with magical abilities are hated and discriminated against. Are captured, experimented on or killed because of their capabilities. 
          
          They'll do whatever it takes to survive. Whether it'd be killing dangerous gang members or working for a power-hungry mobster. 
          
          When the crossfires end, who'll be the ones to walk out alive and who'll be dragged to the morgue? The detectives? The mobster? Or the murderous siblings?

          It's been almost two years, but we are back. 
          Here's to The Lunar Awards 2020, or whatever is left of it.
          
          1. Why now?
          With the recent deletion of the community forums and the newsfeed, the scope of finding new books and authors has reduced. We want to do our bit to make it easier to find and support fellow authors on Wattpad.
          
          2. Who's we?
          Currently @midnightcupofnoodles and @still_just_me. Two minions of darkness who are just setting up the brand new awards book.
          
          3.When's it starting?
          Today! To those who remember, The Lunar Awards are a monthly contest featuring a different genre. To all newcomers, welcome! We will upload the contest book in a few hours and you can find all the information there.

          This is the admin. Terribly sorry for the long absence.
          
           In the following week, will make sure to catch up on those how have messaged, but clearing up a few FAQs  asap:
          
          
          1. When will the previous results be declared?
          Ideally by this weekend, 18th November.
          
          2. Why the delay?
          Due to personal emergency, I had taken a break and contacted other admins to make sure things ran smooth. The admins hired to replace seem to have disappeared to the point of deleting their account and leaving everyone hanging. So, I'll be cleaning up the mess, calculating the scores over the next couple of days and figuring out the details. Oh well.
          
          3. When will the next award restart?
          December. If you follow this account, you'll receive a message when it re-opens.
