@lilmisspeekaboo well, firstly, all i can say is thank you that you actually liked my cover ^.^ and secondly, yes, I do use a software. It's the Adobe Photoshop that I tend to use a lot. It's really great and all but really, u just need true inspiration and a creative mind ;) that's how I ended up making that cover
