Sodalite

Sodalite is a young gem author with deep passions for art, literature, music, and most creative things of the sort. She loves the ocean, Earth, Steven Universe, Gravity Falls, and Percy Jackson. Her favorite movie is Song of the Sea. Sodalite was a higher class gem on Homeworld. She worked under Blue Diamond as a Planet Scavenger/mapper. Sodalite was in charge of sending teams to find new planets and test if they were suitable for colonization of kindergartens. Most weren't. But, Sodalite mapped on star charts and galaxy models where these planets were, and which ones were good or bad. These files were sent directly to Blue Diamond. Sodalite joined the rebellion (along with one of her two rubies) when her ship was shot down on her way to an important meeting on gem war by Rose Quartz's laser light canon. After Rose saw Sodalite's natural agility and power behind her exploding light disc weapon, disregarding Sodalite's complete lack of skill, Rose decided to try to convince her to join her team. Rose Quartz made Sodalite see the wrong with Homeworld's ways, and in all honesty, Rose Quartz completely inspired her and Ruby. (Not the Ruby from the show, a different one.) Sometime after the gem war, however, Sodalite and about 25 other gems on the team realized that they honestly did not care for the Earth like the original Crystal Gems did. They just defied Homeworld's ways. Sodalite and her group (the Rainbow Gems) left Commander Rose Quartz respectfully, and dedicated their time to help with the cleanup and research of the corrupted gems in the world. The Rainbow Gems plan on teaming back up with the Crystal Gems if Homeworld ever decided to invade earth once more. Sodalite's main element is plasma.
