Hellooo! So I have exciting news (maybe exciting, depending on reactions) that I’m considering going back to my Draco story. But here’s the thing: it would not be a Draco Malfoy fanfic anymore. I’m still unwilling to go through the tremendous effort of reworking my entire story for the reasons I listed when I took it down. However I’d be willing to rework it entirely as something to publish for purchase. Obviously it can’t be draco if I do that.
My thought is keep the plot and my original characters (harley, delilah, and alexis of course) and keep the same dynamic and characteristics for harley’s love interest, but as a not-draco character.
The dynamic would remain the same. Basically the same bully (double bully cause we all know harley is a bully too), enemies to lovers, forced proximity romance that I Love To Hate You [ButThatDoesn’tMeanILoveYou] had but with not-draco in a non-magical boarding school. I’d rework new circumstances for most existing parts (he still has to show her around the school, he’s still a dick to literally everyone, there’s still a jealous non-pansy ex girlfriend, harley still joins the sports team, the broken arm/kissing in rain scene still happens the same, etc) to make it my own original work without the pre-existing harry potter context.
This is the only compromise I’m willing to do! I still get messages asking if I’ll make the Draco story available again. I won’t, BUT if there’s enough interest and response to this offer then I’ll get to work on what I’ve offered above. Let me know your thoughts! :) comments or direct messages are both fine, I’m mostly just susing out if there’s interest to know if I should move forward with the idea.
