Shiloh Darke

Well,  grew up in an average, mid sized town in West Texas. As a child, I had a very hard time learning to read. Not only did it seem to me to be a waste of time; it was also hard for me to focus on the words. And let's just admit it . . . it's so much more fun to daydream of romantic adventures. I could tell better stories than those old books did anyway. I had a HUGE imagination.

My mother finally found a way to get me to read. She gave me a Harlequin romance. Took me a month to read the story, but it flipped the switch and I became a reading fiend! Finally, I decided I wanted to tell my own stories. Stories of love that surpassed time and broke through the barriers of life and death, but with touches of adventure and paranormal suspense as well.

I began writing short stories and poetry, all haunting tales of love between mortal and immortal souls. At eighteen, I started mapping out her ideas for The Order of Eternals. The result of all my meticulous plotting and planning is a staggering list of novels readers can anticipate with gusto, three of which are currently available in eBook format.

I also have begun writing stories that are for younger audiences as well as those who prefer stories that are not of such an intimate nature. Those stories are under my alternate pen name; Rowan Shannigan
