Ok just finished watching the smile precure movie, and honestly? Just gonna say it straight up, FUCKK YOU NICO. YOU WANTED TO PLUNGE THE ENTIRE WORLD INTO DESPAIR JUST CAUSE SOME RANDOM ASS 5 YEAR OLD DIDN'T FINISH YOUR STORY?? WHAT IN THE ROOTY TOOTY FRESH AND FRUITY FUCK GIRL. Felt so bad for Miyuki having to apologize for breaking a 'promise' that she made when she was a literal child, she didn't know the consequences of what she was saying she didn't even know Nico was real, she just thought she was talking to a character in some random book she found on a cart. Also don't like that none of her friends backed her up like "whoa girl this is NOT your fault, you were like 5 you had no clue what was going on" they were just like "we all make mistakes Miyuki, we'll help you apologize to her" like SHE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WRONG?? NICO LITERALLY TRIED TO HAVE HER AND ALL OF HER FRIENDS KILLED OVER HER LITTLE CHILD SELF NOT WRITING AN ENDING TO A RANDOM BOOK SHE FOUND AND MIYUKI HAS TO APOLOGIZE TO H E R ???? WHAT KIND OF MESSAGE IS THAT???????????? AND NICO GIVES A WEAK ASS APOLOGY AFTER EVERYTHING IS SAID AND DONE SO-
Emily and the rest of the glitter force wouldn't have let that slide Emily would've been like "WE'VE NEVER EVEN MET BEFORE I JUST READ ABOUT YOU IN A BOOK- WHY ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL US??????" then they would've all thrashed her ass, used her corpse as a meat shield while fighting the demon king, and every womaned all over the place once everything was said and done
Also Candy did literally nothing in this movie, you could just remove her and absolutely nothing would change, also where was Pop?? Honestly if the movie had just been an adaptation of that one novel where Joker returns it would've been so much more hype, we also would've gotten to see the girls as adults but oh well
The movie was fun, if a little boring at points, don't get me wrong, but I just cannot get over the whole Nico thing- like THE LION THE WITCH AND THE AUDACITY OF THIS BITCH YKNOW

@ratgirlsnewacc Since reading your comment I've actually begun binging the series again (I watched like 20 of them in one night-) and I agree! The story is quite unique, and the vibe is unlike anything else I've watched, I don't really think I could compare it to anything You're actually the first person I've found on here who knows about Ratboy Genius (in a way besides just laughing at how 'cursed' or 'stupid' it is) and I'm grateful for your comment because it helped me remember to start watching it again!

@ShelbzLemonadeMaker No its okay!! I actually really liked reading it, I thought that the uncanny art looked a little silly so I just kept watching it. For some reason it kind of had an interesting storyline and in my free time I used to continue watching it. I'm glad somebody else knows about him!

@ratgirlsnewacc I LOVE RATBOY GENIUS. I will defend it to the ends of the earth It has such a good, positive vibe for me whenever I watch it, and it's full of actually really good original musical compositions I've become so desensitized to the uncanny animation that used to bug me about it when I was younger that it's actually circled back around to being sort of charming in its own, Ratboy Genius way! (Sorry if this is too wordy of a response, this comment actually just reminded me that I need to finish watching that series, as I haven't seen all of the episodes yet, so thanks for that-)

I really don't need that in my life I know it probably sounds stupid but I really care about my work and it takes a lot of time and preparation and courage to share it with what is essentially the world even if not too many people see it, and that really rubbed me the wrong way last night You'll understand once you write your story, it's not easy I'm cool with you just as long as you don't ever do that again, like I usually don't mind talking to you when you leave me a message, but that was just on a whole nother level I'm not trying to like make you feel bad or something because now looking back on this it didn't seem too 'malicious', per say, moreso just suuper blunt, but yeah Um I guess that's all I have to say about that
