"You're like a computer with way too many tabs open." Which is probably why I started writing because when you read as voraciously as I did in my teens, you eventually need to start mixing and matching from your favorite stories and come up with your own. There's no such thing as a new story. It's all been done.

Imitation is the highest form of flattery so this is my tribute to all the writers who have kept me company over the years. And the musicians who have offered me lyrics and music that fueled my imagination.

I may have stopped and taken the last two decades to live my life but no one ever really forgets their first love. Forget what the many story tropes have said over the years. It is better to have loved and lost. You gain experience. So when you're reunited with your first love you can appreciate what you missed the first time around in your innocence.

You'll have to follow me to see how it all ends. It's the only way you'll be notified when something new pops up or the next installment has been added. I'm not your conventional anything, just a girl who loves playing around with words as much as she loves and appreciates her glasses of wine.

I had a college professor once. He said we are programmed to respond in the affirmative to the question, "how are you?" What if we actually answered that question instead of the preset response of just "okay"? I write because it's the questions we don't answer that fascinates the hell out of me.

But this is a social writing platform so feel free leave me the customary votes and comments. Maybe I just might answer back. I hope you enjoy reading the open tabs in my brain, or not. I'm not Indigo Montoya and you're not the six fingered man who killed my father. We do not have a date with destiny.

I was bored of what I was working on. Father Lazarus has landed. Check out Reflections. It's a working title that may change.
