Now, what is this new story I’m so thrilled about? Glad you asked! Think Brothers in Arms, but significantly better in quality, character development, and structure. It’s called The Courage to Live, and it’s a Harry Potter story that picks up right at the end of the seventh book. I change exactly one canon detail: Snape survives the war, and he’s, well, maybe not as thrilled about that as he ought to be. If you love BiA, I mean it when I say you will LOVE this story. It’s everything BiA is in a more polished, adult form — and it’s already got almost twice the content, which is honestly just incredible. I’ve done in six months on this story what took me six *years* on BiA — talk about a passion project!
While BiA is more of an idealized, simplified look at mental health and moving on from the past, TCtL is a grounded, realistic take that focuses on Snape’s journey through therapy and struggle to find himself, with an emphasis on friendship and personal growth. But, if you’re worried it might not have the characteristic humor and likeable cast of BiA, don’t be! TCtL is hilarious in its own right, and I make the most of the cast, especially the staff of Hogwarts.
Fundamentally, Snape isn’t so different a character from Shadow and even Eclipse, and I think, if you’ve liked them in BiA, you’re going to find a lot of similar things to love in him. Even if you’re not a Harry Potter person or if you disliked Snape in the books, I’ve shown this story to a lot of people in both categories, and I’ve gotten some really positive reactions, so I encourage you to check it out! Snape is his own man, certainly, and not always a pleasant one, but if we’re talking fascinating, heavily-traumatized characters, he just about sets the bar — and it’s set pretty high. I’ve absolutely loved working with him in this story, and I think you all are going to love reading it! Check out the first five chapters, and let me know what you think! ;)

Hey I've recently finished reading Brothers in Arms and I REALLY liked it! In fact I LOVED it! I'm aspiring to write a fan fic myself and I was wondering if you had any tips on the writing process of a fan fic. The structuring, outline editing etc.

I’m back, and I brought a new story!! I know I dropped off the face of the planet for the last six months, at least on Wattpad, but I am in fact alive! My personal life has been a hell of a struggle this year, but I’ve actually written more in the past six months than I have in the last four years, so I can’t say I’m too disappointed, in the long run. Now, some rapid fire Q&As:
Will Brothers in Arms be finished? Yes! I’m still proud of BiA, and it’ll be published alongside my new fic until it’s done. As Monday is my one day off, I’m thinking of updating BiA on Friday and my new story on Monday. It’ll be a few weeks before BiA starts up again because I’m hella busy, but it will, no fear!
Will other stories be finished? Possibly. Sonadow: RiH will be, and I’ve got an idea for its sequel, though I don’t particularly want to take that on in addition to all my work right now. If anyone’s interested in adopting the idea and the stuff I have written, lmk! Shadow’s Diary might be finished, but it’s so old now that I’d try to wrap it up quickly. Difficult Task and Shadow: Awakening II will probably not be finished, S:A II because it’s at a good stopping point and Difficult Task because it’s just not a very solid story, and I never had a definitive ending planned for it. I do want to give you all closure, but a lot of these stories are from my early high school days, and I have trouble finding interest in them now as a full time working adult.
Let’s talk this new fic, shall we? See you in the next post!

Hey, guys. Sonic One-Shots update is moving back, maybe a few days, maybe a week and change. The past few weeks have been really busy, and I lost a pet recently on top of it all, so finding both the time and motivation to write has been difficult. Hopefully, I can get homework done preemptively and work on chapters! Sorry for the change in schedule, but I'll get the update out as soon as I reasonably can. Thank you for your patience!

@ShadowAceSonic Losing someone or something is difficult. I pray and hope that you find the strength to push forward and do what you enjoy doing.

Hey, readers!

As the start of the semester is only a few weeks out, I'd like to get a more regular content schedule up and running. My current thoughts are to update BiA the first of every month (excluding August because it was updated this week) and Sonic One-Shots the fifteenth of every month. I'm doing this under the assumption that most of you are following both Brothers in Arms and Sonic One-Shots, so, if that's not the case, I recommend checking out the story you're not following to get more regular content! I want to have updates that you all can look forward to that I can also set as reasonable deadlines for myself. Of course, in the event of work overload, I may have to move an update by a week or two, but I'm going to sincerely try to have one in each month.

I'd like your opinions on this schedule, as updating simply whenever I finished a chapter has, I think, been detrimental for those of you trying to follow a story, as updates haven't been consistent. Would you like to have BiA the first and One-Shots the fifteenth? Or vice versa? I'm open to either. Thank you all for your patience these past few years, and I hope to provide you with more consistency. Let's do it to it! ^-^

@ShadowAceSonic Hi, thanks for the heads up and sorry for an extremely late reply. Although I'm not at all fond of Eclipse as a character and am more curious about Shadow in that story than anything, I'm curious to see where you will take the plot :)

@XxAibyokaxX I'm not sure if you've seen it yet, but the most recent chapter for Brothers in Arms has an announcement about Sonadow: Romance in Highschool at the end! It's going to involve all the main cast, but it's going to be centered around Eclipse (since everyone seems to be starving for content with him--which I understand all too well XD), who will be brought in shortly after the current narrative concludes to start a new school year. It's going to be pretty different from Sonadow: Romance in Highschool's previous tone, but I think it fits as the characters are maturing, dealing with raging teenage hormones, and just generally trying to make it work with two new students in the group (the other one's a surprise ;)). I hope to see you there when I update it!

@ShadowAceSonic Oh, I see! I'm honestly glad to hear it hasn't been discontinued, that's what matters the most XD ❤

@Blackpaw2020 It's okay! I'm not angry, simply busy. Good job on learning life skills, though, that's hard work, even for myself! One of my problems is that I don't reply quickly enough -- as you can see. But don't worry about it!
