Alumnus of Murray State University, longtime fan of science fiction, and enthusiast of the English language and its many works. Writing my first novel, 'The Music of the Spheres, Book 1: Ragnarok', which I plan on presenting here in serial form. Amateur short story and fanfiction writer my whole life, ready to find my place at the writer's table and looking for interested readers. 

I am a man of many interests, including astronomy, spirituality, comparitive religion, history, technology, transhumanism, and humanistic philosophy. I'm a Libra, so I try to keep things within a balance. I try not to slide too far into fluffy bunny stories nor blood-soaked grimdark, preferring to find new paths within the middle ground. 

I'm a country mouse by birth and circumstance, and a bit of an introvert because of growing up in a land of solitude, but if nothing else, if gives one plenty of time to think about the big questions.

-Dan Simmons
-J.R.R. Tolkien
-Stephen King (especially his early years)
And far too many others to list.

If you're interested in any of the things I listed, feel free to have a look at the first few chapters of my novel.  I won't ask you to either sugarcoat it or draw steel, but will ask to you to let me know what you think each way. Bear in mind character is an archetype, story is another.

If you spot an error, proofreading notes are welcome. Geography advice also welcome, as it's unfortunately my hardest subject. And general yays or nays are fine; if I nailed a passage, underline it, so to speak, with the app's inline notes. Same with if I'm either getting too talky or too abbreviated. 

Bear in mind, I do want to write full novels, as the short story was my early years. Then I was a reader dreaming of the journey. After that I went for a walk through Mordor and came back. Now I've got stories to tell.
