I like to write.  It started out as an outlet for me, particularly through the turbulent times of my adolescence, and has now become a form of expression that allows me the communicate the thoughts and feelings I can't adequately express in conversation, the downside to being an introvert. 

 I don't have much time for it anymore, at least recreational writing.  I have a family and kids and a job that involves a lot of technical writing, but technical writing can be a bit bland.  So now creative writing is more a hobby than anything.

One of my life goals is to write a novel, not necessarily publish it and sell it, but just write it.  And of course, I want it to be good and compelling and to at least touch someone in some way.  That's the whole point of writing, right?  The power of words and their ability to elicit an emotional response?  

So this is my avenue, this being Wattpad.  And you are my audience.  I like feedback, critical feedback.  I have thick skin so let me have it.  "It sucks.  It's too slow.  Get to the point.  Not enough description.  Too much description."  Give me the truth because I cherish your help.  If I want to become a better writer, I need your help.  Thank you.
