Richard Merrell

I am retired and going ok at 65, live in the town of Lawson in the region called the Blue Mountains, in New South Wales, Australia which is about 50 miles West from Sydney. I am on the aged pension and rent a Community housing studio type unit from the Government, and I live the simple life and thank the Lord.

   I have a home page with Christian studies and poems, various items from the very Early Church so that believers might come to know the faith once delivered to the saints, Jude 3. Folks are welcome to take or print any item or poem. Also I did a little page in remembrance of my cat Rega, whom I had for some 15 years, he was a good cat and a little friend from the animal world.
  
   As to this short story I wrote, I thought it needy to be able to share for I know many folks did not have a so called happy childhood in certain ways, some had to fend for themselves or had to deal with real problems and grew up fast. My little tale is not unique but had the outcome many years later in my being saved by the Lord Yeshua, the messiah and Son of God, so  from the  Christian testimony standpoint I pray some might be encouraged, and the final say is the Lord's on that day when judgement is done, rightly by God towards every person that ever lived since Adam and Eve.

   So be encouraged I pray, be edified, knowing that in the end the God of all the Earth shall do right, and these words from David;  'I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living' Psalm 27:13
