Marya Kalen

I am a published author of two books; 'Lonely Nevermore' (a romance) and 'Elvis in Wonderland' (Humour).  I am somewhat of an expert on both these titles, since I met my husband shortly after I wrote 'Lonely Nevermore', and John is a very talented Elvis Tribute Artist!  

We have traveled across North America together with our Welsh Terrier, Monte.  We spent almost three years as Full Time RV'ers, foolishly spending the winter months in Milton, Ontario instead of somewhere warm. Anything for a laugh! 

We now find ourselves living another exotic lifestyle - a tiny mining town in North West Ontario. Manitouwadge's motto is 'Live in the Extreme'.  I find myself distracted from my writing due to the beauty of the Canadian Shield and all it has to offer!
