I was born in Tacoma, Washington, USA.
Since then, I've lived in Illinois, Wyoming, Colorado, Southern and Northern California and Florida (not recommended).

Sometimes I write programs or do nifty behind-the-scenes database work. For some reason, I'm asked to consult on Regular Expressions matches rather often.

I research everything and anything -- knowing nothing leads to a kind of curiosity -- some of this research comes in handy for fiction writing.

Right now, I live in Southern California and I'm working on "The Assassins" which is a combination of "Radulf: The Unlucky" and "Razor: The Steel Edge", the second in the set of stories called Tales From Archangel Valley.

I used to mainly write story ideas that I never finished and poetry that I did.
