@njgreenfield No problem! Wow! That sure is a lot of questions but I am afraid that I am as much in the dark as yourself. I tend to envision scenes rather than stories and allow therefore my readers to create the past and future that helps them construct more meaning to the little I portray. Perhaps it is my kneejerk reaction to those writers who provide way too much background ,but personally I prefer my writing to be stripped of all but the bare essentials.

Think, for example, of a photograph. Often what can make it such a powerful piece of art is the not knowing, the gaps we have to fill in relation to who the person/persons are, what they were doing before and where they are now. In this same manner but with writing, the reader becomes more than simply an onlooker and instead takes an active role in the story's construction. You become just as much the writer as I am.

I guess what that means is that all those questions are ones you yourself can answer and be just as correct as my own suggestion might be.

            Thanks again for reading!

@njgreenfield So i read the book and the idea is truly impressive . but i got about a million or two question against the ones the story answered . What happened before he died in the ocean ? what made them go to the beach ? how long have they been married ? from what i understand they lived quite some time together so why dont they have children ? how did she dare to burn all his memories to get a new memory that wont last for minutes ( was she quite that desparete ? ) how didnt she die when the flame picture of him wrapped his arms around her ? was she just imagining all of this ? did she really love him to the degree that she would sacrifice her life to be with him ? how long was je dead before she did this ? i am soo sorry for being late but i responded as soon as i finished it . sorry i was reading something else but i like it
