Nothing Lasts Forever is a collection of stories. Stories of survival in a world built on the consequences of our actions now. Ecocide and Sadistic AI tore our society apart. Now all the remains are the ruined husks of The Old World, now inhabited by rogue abominations, tech demons, and lone pockets of newly forming civilization whose people have lost nearly all common knowledge of the times before. While the world may not remember it's past, malicious machines have stolen memories from the lost ones and become raving zealots convinced they are divine. And this is just the beginning. The climate is in shambles and wildlife has been forever changed. Wastelands with lakes of nuclear radiation cover many parts of the world, devoid of all but the most tainted of life. None of this compares to what was awoken by our Collapse. Entities older than humanity now walk the world.
