@OldbonnieMan Well, the earthquake have stopped thankfully.Though there are times when we'll feel one or two but it's not as much as the start of 2020 where it was really scary. As for the hurricanes it's alright too.Sadly, there are still people out around who still have the blue plastic sheets as their rooftops or with no good power yet.

Getting real fucking tired of these constant earthquakes.Just a few minutes ago one of 5.something shook the house up and down.We all ran out but my mom had to stay inside and cover herself with some cushions for safety because she had surgery on her leg a few days ago. This is so frustrating....when will this end already?

And just when I mustered up the courage again to sleep inside my room and not even three days sleeping in my room this happens.

This is the only place right now where I can tell people what is happening to us.Even now I can feel the ground shake now and then. There are people who are leaving the island to go to the States to save themselves from this disaster and I'm not afraid to admit that I am starting to wish we could leave to save ourselves from this nightmare. But we can't...

But as of now,I can say that we are at least still alive and unharmed.I don't know when I will get another chance to leave a message here. But I will end this off here because I don't want my phone to run out of battery.Sorry if there are any misspelled words or horrible grammar, but I am doing this as fast as I can.

          Until next time.

Thanks so much. The shaking is still occurring but it's not intense. Now they are more like vibrations inside the ground that you feel now and then.Even so we can't fully trust that there won't be another one much more stronger.I just hope that this all ends and that the first one's that were strong are the last one's we get to experience.

I pray for your safety my friend :c I’m sad to see how many bad things are happening at your place, wish you could move to Sweden and live with me- we never have natural disasters like that. No earthquakes, no hurricanes, no tsunamis, no nothing-

            Stay safe my friendo-

The first night my family slept outside because the thought of going inside the house to sleep went off to Fuck town. The night was cold a fuck, but are had no other choice. We have no power or water at all and all we can do is run out the house and huddle together when it starts to shake.Luckily, the house is fine with no new cracks at all.If the house keeps up like this with no damages then I could be happy as hell when all this is over.Hopefully this all ends soon.Yesterday,January 8 the shaking seemed to ease a bit but to me it seemed almost menacing how still everything was.

The same night we decided to sleep inside the house close to the exits just in case it startes to shake.I couldn't sleep at all because around at 1am it started to shake briefly and I just ended up bolting out of the air bed that my dad put up.As the hours passed from that point it would now and then making all of us get up instantly not being able to sleep well because of the fear that a bigger earthquake could hit us.

Now it's January 9 and the damn higher ups from the other side of the island are telling us that we have to report to our fucking jobs despite us being in this situation with no power or water.I'm fucking pissed off and scared as hell over at my mom's work.

I am leaving this message to tell everyone here that there are people who lost their houses again every since they got them reconstructed when Hurricane María hit us a few years ago.I am telling this because I don't have a damn clue when this will be all over.I don't know if our house will fall or not,and I really hope and pray it doesn't.

I am leaving this message to those who are unaware of what is happening right now in Puerto Rico in the area where I live.

Since December 28 there has been slight shaking in the ground and we were all brushing it off thinking that it will go away.We were wrong. On the day Día de Reyes(January 6) here in Puerto Rico there was an earthquake of 6.4 at around 6:30 am.At that time in the house we were all asleep and we woke up instantly when everything started to shake badly. As the hours passed the ground kept shaking and even in the news when they were interviewing we all felt the same earthquake that even some of the news reporters startes to scream out of fear.

The next day January 7 another earthquake occurred at 4:24 am and this one was terrible.I didn't sleep at that time because a feeling in my gut was telling to stay up.My mom and brother were asleep while my dad was also awake. At exactly that time the lights went out and everything started to shake violently that even a few things from my room fell down.We were all running out to the door when my mom went into a panic trying to fund the keys and I screaming out for my little brother to wake up and get out of the house with us.From that point on we all stayed outside packing our things in the cars out of fear going inside the house.I almost started to cry when another earthquake started to shake every thing. That day the ground never stopped shaking and my parents kept listening to the news and hwta we saw was a horrible nightmare.

The houses from the southeast where the earthquake is happening have all fallen down now and the people are taking refuge outside. There is even one reported death in Ponce of an elderly man of 73 years who couldn't get out on time when one of the walls collapsed on him.
