Last night I was in the middle of writing my next chapter for 'A Fix In Time' when a notification of mines went off. It was twitter telling me my friend retweeted something and when I checked it out I was in shock. If you haven't heard the news by now, Cameron Boyce, Carlos from Descendants and Luke from Jessie, has sadly passed away.
I've experienced celebrity deaths before but this one hit me harder than any other. He was so active and seemed so healthy yet he's still gone. He had a seizure in his sleep due to previous medical problems.
Cameron was A talented young man very close to my age. I grew up with him as Luke on Jessie and fell in love with him as Carlos from Descendants. He was taken away way too early and it saddens me that he won't even get a chance to continue his life.
Cameron preached for better for everyone. He preached for goodness in life and saw that humanity had the opportunity to turn everything around when most of us had lost faith in it. He felt that he could change the world and I believe that he could have.
As a way of honoring him, the chapter after the next one in 'A Fix In Time' will be dedicated to him along with the rest of the book. This book might change a bit now, I'm not entirely sure, I want to do it justice for him!
Now all I believe that there is left to say is Goodbye.
Goodbye Luke Ross, Goodbye Carlos De Vil, but most importantly, Goodbye Camron Boyce. You were a rare light in this world and now it will be a little bit darker without you here. May God take care of your soul and watch over your family and friends who were left here to mourn.
RIP Cameron Boyce 1999-2019
