Hello. 2000 characters? To explain myself? Here we go...
Aside from being an aspiring author I am very active in the world of sports. I was the starting catcher for four softball teams during the course of five months. Softball is my passion. I love it. However, goalies, corner kicks, and soccer balls interest me as well. I prefer to play as a center midfielder because it requires fast thinking and a lot of running.
For some reason, for which I have only one explanation, I absolutely HATE reading realistic stories. Don't get me wrong, there are some fantastic realistic fiction stories out there and I admit I've written some myself, but for the most part I have always seen words as a way to get away from the realistic. I keep a good amount of hope in the idea of the paranormal and strongly believe such a different world exists. Ghosts, zombies, vampires, werewolves, any words focused on the paranormal are ones which I will happily read.
When writing I usually use the names of people in my life, even though their personalities and appearence are almost always changed. I started to use this strategy because I have a lot of friends who aren't too thrilled to be reading one of my stories during their free time. The solution was simple. Write them into my stories. Has anybody else noticed how much people enjoy reading about themselves?
Thanks to anyone that has read Zombie Night! :)
