I have always liked literature. A few years ago I turned that into a love of writing. Right now I am posting the seventh in an eight book series of religious romances. #1 Daughter of Helaman is available on Amazon. The rest are available here, free for the time being. Check out my blog at http://mistymoncur.blogspot.com/ Sometimes I'm funny there. Maybe you'll catch me on a good day. You can also hook up with me on facebook, twitter, or goodreads. http://www.facebook.com/daughterofhelaman http://twitter.com/MistyMoncur http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/4763987.Misty_Moncur I would love to read your stories too. Drop me a line and a link. I don't have a lot of spare time in my personal life, but I try to read and comment as much as I can. It's fun for me, and as most of you here are fellow book nerds, I know you'll understand that. While I am kind of a grammar nazi for myself and people who should have it down, I know that every person is on a different level in their own writing journey. I've been through lots of stages myself and know I still have a lot to learn. If you read my work, you have my sincere thanks. Please take a moment to comment and vote. I love to hear what you think.

Thanks! I don't know how I got in the list! My poetry is reasonable but my other writing... Well the imagination is there, but I don't know how much else is.
@MistyMoncur Oh thanks I like pretty much anything, as long as it's well written c:
@sarapottersbooks@MistyMoncur Sorry to jump in but I just got back from Storymakers and it was AWESOME!! I went to a different one last year and it wasn't near as good! I actually got a manuscript request from it! P.S. Thanks for suggesting my books Misty! :)
@Chiunque Recommend writers to follow? Depends on what you like! Here are a few suggestions I'm comfortable recommending. Great authors, budding writers, and a poet or two.@sarapottersbooks,@rosielaurel,@mcorona7,@sugarthereader,@tristipinkston,@jennijames,@acleon,@gailwagner,@anneneufeld,@annabuttimore,@heatherostler,@alicross,@rachaelanderson,@seasonme, off the top of my head to get you started. =] And welcome to Wattpad!
Thanks for being my first follower c: Know any writers I should follow?
You're welcome! I like to read about other cultures, times and religions. I want to understand how different people think and why.
@MistyMoncur Thanks, you're sweet. Please don't feel any obligation to read my stuff though. I'm here for the exposure, but I want you to read because you like it, not because I follow and read your stuff. :) I didn't know you had a book published! Congratulations! I'll start with book two then...since it's free and we're kind of broke. :P
@sarapottersbooks I need to man up and go to a conference. And no, Daughter of Helaman is published so I can't post it. Available on Amazon. Most people seem to jump in just fine at book two, though. I noticed you have a new story up. I'll give it a read. :)
Do you have the first book in your series up on Wattpad?
I don't blame you. (-for not being converted to conferences, that is.) This year was my first time at LTUE. I learned a lot, but much of it I already knew and there were lots of people who wanted to story vomit on you without having to listen to your opinion or criticism....reminds me of this one place where I post my stories on the internet......;) I will probably go again next year, but it will be almost entirely for the networking. ...and the pitching. They had agents and publishers to pitch to for the first time this year. It was a really great learning experience for me as a first timer.
