I'm a Chicago girl who lives in LA and I'm the author of three young adult novels: "Adventures in Funeral Crashing," "The New Girl Who Found A Dead Body," and "Connected (A Paranormal Romance)."  I also work in production on  television shows. The latest is "Austin & Ally," but I've also worked on "Hannah Montana," & "That's So Raven."

In my spare time, I go on adventures with my super cute dog Licorice and read books in my pajamas! And, I just got married! We eloped on Valentine's Day!

My favorite authors are Jane Austen, Lucy Maude Montgomery, Christopher Pike, Meg Cabot, RL Stine, Sophie Kinsella, Madeleine L'Engle, & JK Rowling. Now, all of these favorite authors mean that my all time favorite book is a four way tie between Pride & Prejudice, Gone With the Wind, Anne of Green Gables,and A Wrinkle in Time. Uh-oh. If I keep thinking about it, I'll come up with more books! 

My first book "Adventures in Funeral Crashing" is about a sixteen year old funeral crasher named Kait who gets involved in a murder mystery with the hottest guy in school. I wrote it as a three day novel and loved the character so much, it turned into a series!

My second book "The New Girl Who Found A Dead Body" is about a girl named Chloe, who transfers to a California high school for her senior year. On her first night there, she stumbles across the dead body of the most popular girl in school...will she be next? My latest novel "Connected (A Paranormal Romance)" is about a teenage ghost named Drew who watches over a girl named Aurora. His comfortable afterlife spins out of control, though, when she gets hit by a car and dies at the age of six.

I'm currently working on Book #3 in the Funeral Crashing Series and Book #1 of a new series, a sci-fi romance, called "Doppelganger."
