Call Me Mek

Hello! My name is Mek (Mic is also accepted). I am a Paralegal by day and writer/author by night. I have issues with procrastination resulting in infrequent updates. My writing focus is definitely more on original ideas, but as that well is refusing to be fruitful at the moment, I am turning back to my fanfictions so that I can say I am proud of them- as they are rife with mistakes, bad detail, and shaky plot lines. I hail from the Lily Capital of the World, and currently live in the Canadian West. I've had a love of writing since I was in grade 4 and was inspired to get into it by watching movies like Little Women and Anne of Green Gables. I hope to eventually have a book published, if I can ever put my books down (currently I have 719 and counting). Aside from writing, I have passions for art and travelling (I've been to Japan; Mexico, Rome, Greece, England, and France are next). I originally got into anime with Pokemon as a kid, but my friends reintroduced me when I was in grade 6 and I became the manga dealer in town. My favorite series in manga and anime is Library Wars (Toshoken Senshou) and my biggest goal in going to Japan was to buy the novel form (which I succeeded in) and buying the DVD (which I failed at). I hope to return to Japan and expand my knowledge of the language and culture.
