@Locabu Good luck with your exams!
Oh. So I assume I didn't take attention. I think I'll read again your books when I finish my exams :)
@HypothermicBunny Thank you! <3 I like the part where you said i turned it on its head... awesome! :) that's what I wanted to do, take a cliche story and write it in an un-cliche way.
I'd focus on the fact that you (brilliantly) showed that things are not always what they seem. Olivia wasn't a helpless scared little mouse of a girl, Kaden was not the fearsome, ruthless dragon that is so often portrayed, Sebastian wasn't an ogre, and the prince is most definitely NOT a hero. You turned fairy tale telling on its head. That's what made me so interested in DT in the first place.
@Locabu Thank you for the feedback :) I really appreciate it. As for Charlie and Delilah, there were a few subtle hints throught the story about Charlie and Delilah's father. He was a redhead traveling bard, and I mention him and that his name is Nathaniel. ;)
I have just a comment about Dragon’s prize. I would appreciate a little explication on the fact that Charlie and Delilah are sisters, What happened to Charlie? It’s as if a sister appear suddenly without reason. You should add something in your book because I am a little confused about that fact. So, I read Dragon’s Treasure a long time ago and I don’t remember a lot, but I’ll try to respond to your questions. What I remember the most: Dragon’s Treasure is the meeting between Olivia, a young woman who fly away from home to escape a marriage, and Kaden, a kleptomaniac dragon with a mysterious origin. We will see the evolution in their relationship, the taming of the solitary dragon and of a cute little wolf, and the growing love between them. But a cruel Prince is looking after the last known dragon, and he and his following knights will bring trouble wherever they go and to the dragon’s den. Dragon’s Prize is the quest of Kaden who want to retrieve his love, Olivia, kidnapped by the prince. Olivia is dealing with le prince Magnus and his men and she discovers that some of them are not what them seem to be. She makes new friends, such as Charlie, who will sacrifice herself to save Olivia from bad handling. When Kaden and Olivia will be finally together, they are heading home for what they think is safety. On their way, they’ll meet new people and discover what is Kaden. But the prince is seeking revenge and will stop at nothing to kill the dragon and all of those who cross his path. I hope that will help you, even if it’s a little, and that's what you asked. And sorry for errors in my English.
@Imma_Cannibal@asat3683 Thank you so much for the feedback. You're helping a lot! <3
There is so much I like about this book that it's hard to chose. One of the things I remember the most it Olivia and Kaden's love for each other. Even though he was a dragon she looked past that and saw the human inside of him, even though she did not know he used to be human. Olivia was just a caring person in general. When she saw pup she knew he would become part of the family. She treated Charlie like a sister from the very start, even though she helped kidnapped her. Her bravery and loved never ceased to amaze me. Kaden was not what I would expect from someone who had been cursed for so long. Normally that makes people bitter but it made him more caring over time. He learned that life is special and it's a shame to take it from someone, and that was before Olivia. She brought out the human that he thought was long gone. He was never mean and did only what he could to keep them safe. When Magnus showed up he did not attack them and showed them kindness. He was being the bigger "person". The love, bravery, and adventure made this a wonderful book and would not be the same if it was different. The same smiles, laughs, and tears would not be there.
@Maya_2011 what I remember the most about the Dragon's Treasure was the tenderness in the relationship between Kaden and Olivia. Kaden saw Olivia as a breath of fresh air, a woman with a pure heart and felt the need to keep her safe. Olivia saw beyond Kaden's intimidating looks and trusts him. She also felt needed and she wanted to bring some warmth to his lonely life. She sensed he had a good heart and felt she had found a kindred spirit. The other part I loved was when they find Pup and they become a family. A unique, unconventional family. I loved how Pup was quick to read his new Alpha female and Alpha male. I guess the success lies in how well we, as readers, can feel their emotions. And of course, the humor is great. I remember laughing, crying, smiling again. The DT and DP both are very emotional books, they feel your heart with warmth and make you wish to find that kind of bond. Their friendship, their love, their courage and loyalty, are beautiful.
