My name is Jake F. Torres. I'm a Poet/Writer/Songwriter from Boston. Poetry has been a big part of my life since I started writing non-school-related material in 6th grade. I've always loved creative writing, but lately, I have been writing about my personal life and putting my experiences with trauma onto paper. I'm 28 years old, for my 20s overall have been rather rocky as I have struggled with addiction, sexual assault, abusive and toxic relationships, and depressive episodes. Whenever I release a piece of my work, it gives the reader a raw, unfiltered look into my life in my past experiences.
