The Muslim Women's Art Society was founded in 2018 by four female Muslim writers who met when they were chosen to attend a Screenwriters Lab at a Hollywood studio.
They decided to use their connections, experience, and talent to help foster other minority women in the arts, by showcasing them on their Podcast (The Good Girl Playbook), by engaging them in a Facebook group, and by promoting their art.
