Hi to my followers, if you are still active, I have changed my pen name for personal reasons. Previously Melanie Mayne, I am now Lori Mayne. 
          
          I have changed all of my covers to reflect this change and I have also gone back through each of my stories and updated any author notes to reflect the name change. 
          
          The Other Side has been discontinued. You can read the discontinued part at the end of that story if you would like a full explanation. 
          
          I know it has been a while since I have been actively writing on this site, but I have still be writing off the site. I have a couple new ideas that I would like to get a little further in writing than I am now before posting them, but stay tuned! I am very excited for them!

Hey guys. I've kind of lost my inspiration for writing TOS. It just seems superficial to me, it doesn't have any deeper meaning and I've felt really compelled lately to write about mental and physical illnesses in a fictional setting because so many people around me are affected by it, including myself sometimes, and it still has a huge stigma behind it. No supernatural elements, just real people with real problems that need to be dealt with. Tell me what you think. 

Oh my gosh guys I am so sorry. I was in a play that ran for two weekends and then everyone was getting sick so now I'm sick and I have tons and tons of homework because I've missed so school lately. I will try to get a chapter of TOS out asap. Thanks for sticking with it guys!

I wish the Wattpad app had clubs on it. I'd keep up with them much easier because really the only time I get on Wattpad on my laptop is to upload a new chapter. 

SPOILER ALERT FOR CHAPTER 34 OF TOS. 
          
          I had to change a little bit of something Sim said at the very end. I'll try to remember to tell you guys before I post the next chapter as well for the readers that don't follow me. 
          
          Sim now says, "I mean, I know that there is some big event that is supposed to put an end to this madness and save me from Hell, but I honestly don't know what it is. There are things that we have to figure out together and I guess that's one of them."
