Why is drama on Wattpad such a big thing nowadays? It's like every week or so I get a notification in my feed where someone's posted a book responding to some drama, and then I fall down this rabbit hole of multiple accounts all arguing with each other,  accusing, screenshots, and all the other shit that follows with online drama. It's exactly the kind of thing I'd expect to see from this godforsaken app. I understand that online drama exists on practically every app and website, but Wattpad surprised me.

Wattpad is a wank stain of an app. I was talking to people in the comments on a chapter from the Wattys about how Wattpad has gone to shit, and they removed all my comments and banned me from the profile. Just goes to show how Wattpad doesn't acknowledge anything and the people that run it are braindead. Stay away from this godforsaken app and the people that run it.

So, I've changed my mind. I'm not leaving after judging a competition I'm in, I'm leaving right now. Sorry to the contestants I was supposed to judge (to be honest I wasn't even looking forward to it like I was with the competition hosted by @avniy1312 that had really good novels, I was supposed to judge a lot of fanfiction, most of it BTS, and I was fucking dreading it until now that I'm quitting. Sorry for dropping out, Maria and Ash, I know what you've done for me and Lia, but this app is going to shit and I don't want to be a part of it.
          
          I may delete my account, I may not. I'll be starting off fresh elsewhere.
          The one thing I am grateful for is the people I met here. Especially Lia, you're great <3

I'm unpublishing my work so I can transfer it elsewhere. I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but this is my final decision to leave Wattpad for good. I'm going down the traditional route ❤️

My favourite novel by far is called Heroes by Robert Cormier. It's a great read that shows the consequences of war through complex, well-written characters. It really plays with your heart and is a novel I would love to see get a movie adaptation. If you have a library card or a way to access books, you should try see if you can pick up a copy of the book. It's a great book.
          
          Can you believe it, Wattpad? A successful, well-driven, GOOD book that isn't entirely based on smutty romance. Ever heard of such a thing? 

Once I'm finished judging a competition that ends it's judging phase next month, I'm leaving this app for good. My work will be taken down, and I will keep it to myself, I may also delete my account.
          
          This is because Wattpad is run by brain dead rats who don't listen to their community. They remove private messages without good reason, favour romantic genres that leave writers like me in the dust, and praise shit unprofessional authors whilst the GOOD writers, such as people that I've met in competitions, reviews, and messages, get no views. "Copyrighted" work gets leaked and published on scam sites because Wattpad refuses to listen to their community, despite the countless messages pushed forward on their research accounts.
          
          I will be finding a replacement for Wattpad. If you want to keep in touch with me after I leave, my Instagram is loopy_lu878. Just request a follow. I've met so many good people here, but this app is going to shit, and I won't stand it any longer.
          
          Once I find a replacement, I'll let you know so that you can keep up with my projects. Don't try to change my mind, this is my final decision.

Bro I need to get back on track with YB. My mind does this thing where it comes up with this new idea and says "OH ISN'T THAT AN AMAZING IDEA FOR A NOVEL? WE ABSOLUTELY NEED TO WORK ON THIS RIGHT NOW!" And that's what keeps me behind schedules. But hey, I'm in the middle of important exams, so I have to prioritise those before any of my writing. Once the summer comes, I'll become a machine that can just crank out chapters. That's how I wrote so many chapters between August and December last year.
